Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health in the workplace (RQF)
This half day MHFA training is a basic introduction to mental health, and why it is important. It introduces some common mental health challenges and discusses how to spot them. During this four-hour course you will learn how to talk to someone who may be experiencing mental ill health and feel more confident speaking about mental health with colleagues, friends or family.
Certification
After completing the course, you must be awarded the Ofqual regulated Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health, or you will be honored with Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 4. The validity stays up to three years from the date of accomplishment.
Pre-Requisites
Be 14 years of age or older

Comprehensive knowledge about First Aid for Mental Health.
Diagnosis of various mental health issues.
Offering a piece of advice and beginning a meaningful conversation.
Assessment Criteria
You can become eligible after assessing an MCQ question paper. After a successful assessment, you will be awarded Level 1 Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health. You won’t be required to external assessors.
At the giving circumstances we run only virtual mental health first aid training via Zoom.
