FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health RQF
The course fits every individual’s needs, and it helps owners to offer & maintain a healthy work environment at the workplace. Learners can also be familiar with various mental health issues and develop skills to deal with them efficiently.
If you have participated in this course, you can assist as a certified professional in handling mental health issues at the workplace to support people with poor mental health conditions. MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) involves quality teachings & lessons to identify the early signs of mental health issues and offer primary help to the employees at the workplace.
Learners will learn to recognize the warning signs & common risk factors for certain types of disease involving depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Moreover, patients can learn to deal with a person’s state during the crisis and provide primary help.
Additionally, the course also involves teachings about drug effects, and the participants will get sufficient knowledge & skills to aid employers in executing a positive mental health culture at the workplace.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded the Ofqual regulated Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)/Award in First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 5. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement.
Pre-Requisites
Be 14 years of age or older
A range of subjects is covered, including:
- Diagnosing various mental health issues
- Suggesting positive things.
- Implementation & effects of drug and alcohol.
- How to implement First Aid for Mental Health in the office.
Assessment
Your eligibility is determined through a functional demonstration of the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and an MCQ question paper. You will be awarded a Level 2 in first aid for mental health to assist mental health patients at the workplace.
At the giving circumstances we run only virtual mental health first aid training via Zoom.
