This 1-day Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) course is suitable for people aged 16+ who might need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.

This 6-hour Emergency First Aid At Work Course is an excellent introduction to First Aid training. Learners will leave with the confidence to deal with emergency life-threatening situations

Pre-Requisites

Be 16 years of age or older

Validity of Award

This qualification is valid for 3 years

This qualification covers

Role of the first aid supervisor, including;
Providing first aid to an unconscious patient, such as seizure.
How to prevent cross-infection?
Documenting incidents and activities.
How to utilize medical tools & equipment.
Evaluate the circumstances and act safely & promptly during an emergency.
Aid CPR
Offer first aid to the patient who is suffocating.
Providing first aid to a wounded and bleeding patient.
Provide first aid to a patient who got caught by an electric shock.
Offer suitable first aid for small cuts, grazes and bruises, and nominal burns.
